The reds are “boiling” on the shrimp. It’s about this time of year that we start to see Shrimp Carnage. When schools of reds move along the shoreline and flush shrimp out of the grass and blast them out of the water. It’s pretty visual and exciting. Anyway, this is what a shrimp looks like and you can get an idea of what I am tying to catch the fish on when they are doing it. Not an exact replica because I want it to stand out and be seen. A shrimp’s colors are it’s only defense besides it’s ability to swim (badly).
